Jim began working in the field of public accounting in 1977 with an Associates Degree in Accounting and Tax. He became a senior staff accountant at a local Certified Public Accounting firm before starting his own Tax Practice in 1983. During his career his focus has been on small business, and providing basic needs in all accounting areas, and also Individual Tax preparation. While growing his accounting practice Jim entered the Home Health Care industry. He formed a Medicare Certified Home Health Care Agency and has held positions on several regional and Statewide committees. He has since sold that business, but remains on the Statewide finance committee and provides specialized services to the industry. Over the past 33 years, Jim has developed an ability to help small businesses become successful with his experience and dedication to their success. He is extremely excited to have his youngest son Theodore, join him in business. He is a member of the National Society of Accountants and the National Society of Tax Professionals.

Jim has experience with both individual and business taxation. His clients have all types of individual tax needs. From individuals with small businesses or rental properties, to retirees with minimal filing requirements. He also has experience in assisting new start up businesses in all areas of their accounting and tax needs.

Personal Interests:

Jim and his wife of 32 years, Jennie, live in the north metro. They enjoy spending time with their three children and four grandchildren, fishing, golfing, traveling, and an occasional motorcycle ride.
